West Ham United have snapped up Jack Tomlin, the former Arsenal youth goalkeeper joining ex-Manchester United prospect Tom Wooster and one-time Newcastle glovesman Reece Byrne at the Premier League outfit.
A couple of weeks ago, Wooster was spotted denying Jarrod Bowen on the Hammers training pitch with the sort of fine reflex save he has become known for in the Under-21s.
His, and that of Finlay Herrick, will be an example Jack Tomlin looks to follow as West Ham United snap up another youth-team goalkeeper previously tied to a top-flight rival.

According to Arsenal insider Jeorge Bird, teenager Tomlin has made the short trip across London from the Gunners to the Hammers.

Arsenal reportedly told the talented glovesman that he would not be offered a scholarship. Tomlin will now be hoping to secure himself a place in West Ham’s long-term plans instead, beginning initially with Luke Smith’s Under-18 side.
Tomlin could be spotted on the bench when Smith’s team went down 3-2 at Crystal Palace a few days ago.
Back in September, West Ham signed Reece Byrne from Newcastle. The Republic of Ireland Under-19 glovesman has occasionally featured in the matchday squad for Greg Lincoln’s Premier League 2 reserves over the last five months.

Nuno Espirito Santo is taking a closer look at Wooster and Herrick
In the meantime, one-time Man United starlet Wooster continues to share duties with the extremely highly-rated Herrick at Under-21 level.
Herrick trains regularly with Nuno’s first team these days, while Wooster has also earned the chance to test his reflexes up against Bowen, Crysencio Summerville and co at Rush Green.
Speaking of goalkeepers, Mads Hermansen was in ‘brilliant’ form as West Ham edged a nervy 1-0 win away to Fulham on Wednesday night. The Dane pulled off a iron-wristed reflex stop in the dying embers to keep out a Josh King drive.
Hermansen now has four West Ham clean sheets in his last seven Premier League matches, as many as Alphonse Areola has in his previous 38 top-flight outings.
