Marega on Pellegrini list

A recent report from France claimed the East Londoners are ahead of Marseille in the queue. Foot Mercato stated West Ham are ‘concretely positioned’ for the powerful 28-year-old.
And now West Ham know how much they would have to pay to land him, thanks to newly-promoted Aston Villa.
According to The Daily Star Marega has a £31million release clause. It came to light after Aston Villa asked after his availability.

West Ham know price thanks to Villa

That is roughly the sort of figure West Ham are believed to be working their way towards in the bid to sign 22-year-old Gomez.
The Star also claims Marega’s £31m buyout clause is ‘perfectly within reach’ of West Ham, Villa and another interested party, Wolves.

Marega bagged 21 goals and 11 assists for Porto last season. And his attributes of pace and strength seem ideally suited to the Premier League.

Villa’s interest may have proved helpful. But West Ham can’t afford to drag their heels over a deal if they and other rival Premier League clubs are interested.
