West Ham striker Marko Arnautovic will surely be heading for the exit door this summer.
The Hammers ace handed in yet another transfer request earlier this week.
And there will surely be no coming back for the Austrian this time.
Sky Sports claims that an unnamed Chinese club have already submitted a £19.7 million bid for the 30-year-old one – that was subsequently rejected by West Ham.
So should the Hammers even contemplate selling Arnautovic for that fee?
Some West Ham fans had their say, taking to Twitter in reaction to the speculation…
If we had a transfer kitty and a bigger squad I’d say stuff him and let him rot but it looks like we need the money for incomings so we may have to get rid at or near that price. Sod’s law because in this market he’s worth at least £30M

Two bob. That’s not his value it’s just what I think of the tit.
— Richard Puller (@PullerRichard) 3 July 2019
Nope, wouldn’t sell him for that, leave him in the reserves until his head is right, he has recently just signed a new deal, tough shit. £50 mil or rot in the stiffs
— ST (@ppsplanning) 3 July 2019
No let him rot in the reserves!!! ⚒⚒

For a depreciating asset that is worthless to us now getting more or less what we paid for him and saving us 5 mill a year I. Wages is great business in any walk of life. Rip their hands off

I think the reality is we know it is under value. Would like 25-30 myself but then practically speaking getting 20 on 3rd Jul with time to use it is more use than getting 25 on deadline day. Sticks in craw a bit but take it and move on.

The sooner the better for me tbh I would drive down from norfolk in my van pick him and brother up and take them to China myself for free need to get rid I’ve had enough of his toxic behaviour

I just want the book closed on this trouble maker.

Yes … take the £ and run
— DG Claret&Blue (@D_G_00DYWHUFC) 3 July 2019
£30M then pay Gomez release clause
— James (@wookie301) 3 July 2019
I’d sell him for a bag of jelly babies

Time to go?
West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is clearly keen to bolster his attacking options at the London Stadium this summer.
The Hammers are believed to be in for Maxi Gomez and Salomon Rondon. And considering Arnautovic’s recent behaviour, they would both be real upgrades on the Austria international.
And if West Ham manage to get somewhere around £20-25 million for his signature, they should not hesitate to move him on once and for all.
He’s been nothing but trouble over the past six months, and now it’s time for the Hammers board to put an end to his tedious antics.
