According to a report from the Athletic, West Ham United have a £22 million bid – one that could rise to £26.7 million for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri rejected. And some Hammers fans have reacted to the speculation on Twitter.
The East London outfit desperately need to sign a new striker.
David Moyes absolutely must bring an established hitman to the London Stadium before the transfer window slams shut.
Youssef En-Nesyri is the latest name to be thrown into the mix, however.
The Athletic claims that the Hammers have had a bid that could rise to £26.7 million rejected for the 23-year-old.
This seems really strange, however.
West Ham’s two top targets Boulaye Dia and Patson Daka are both available for less than the amount we have allegedly bid for En-Nesyri.
It makes absolutely no sense. What on earth are we playing at? It is likely that this is yet another one of David Sullivan’s ‘we tried’ games.
We’re not stupid though. The West Ham fans can see right through it. The Hammers owner is about as transparent as cling film.
