West Ham want to sign Chelsea ace Ross Barkley if they fail to bring Jesse Lingard back to the London Stadium on a permanent deal this summer according to a report from 90 Min.

Some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the links with the Blues midfielder.

David Moyes is expected to be a busy man in the transfer market this summer.

One of the Scot’s main priorities this summer is to bring Jesse Lingard to the London Stadium on a permanent deal.


That his looking more and more unlikely with each day that passes, however.

The Chelsea midfielder is a transfer target for the Hammers according to a report from 90 Min.

Moyes gave the 27-year-old his debut whilst in charge of Everton back in 2011.

The 27-year-old, who earns £87k-a-week (WT Foot) quite simply hasn’t lived up to expectations since joining Chelsea from Everton in January 2018 for around £15 million, however (BBC).

He has been incredibly inconsistent and has suffered badly with injuries.
