According to a report from Eurosport, West Ham are keen to sign Manchester United defender Phil Jones in January. And some Hammers fans have reacted angrily to the speculation.

David Moyes should definitely be looking to bolster his central defensive ranks at the London Stadium next month.
As things stand it seems like the loan signing of Craig Dawson has been a fairly pointless one.
The Watford owned defender is yet to play a game for West Ham.
And Eurosport suggest that Manchester United man Phil Jones could be an option for the Hammers.
If this is true, we really are in trouble.
Moyes has repeatedly suggested that he wants to bring young, hungry and physically robust athletes to West Ham.
Now, Jones clearly doesn’t fit into that category. The Man United defender is injury prone and he will be 29 in February.
West Ham could and should be doing a lot better than the 28-year-old defender.
