According to ExWHUemployee, West Ham are interested in signing Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez this month, and some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
If the east London outfit fail to strengthen their central midfield options this month, they could be bang in trouble this season.
David Moyes has scant options in reserve behind Mark Noble and Declan Rice.
West Ham are desperately lacking any kind of tenacity, athleticism or mobility in the middle of the park. And it will be so important for them to address that issue this month.
WAYNE ROONEY TO EVERTON IS A JOKE.
ExWHUemployee claimed last night that Uruguay international Nahitan Nandez could be an option for the Hammers.

And the 24-year-old would be a very decent addition to Moyes’s side.
The Cagliari ace is a very hard-working midfielder. He has plenty of energy and gets around the pitch for the entirety of every game that he plays.
Nandez has averaged 1.5 successful tackles and 0.5 interceptions per games this season (Who Scored).
The South American is also a very good passer of the football. He has averaged one key pass per game in Serie A, with an impressive pass completion rate of 77.7% (Who Scored).
Whether Cagliari will be prepared to sell the midfielder to West Ham this month, however, remains to be seen.
Some Hammers fans reacted to the Nandez links on Twitter nonetheless…
Another to good to be true rumour.
We’d be lucky to secure Joe Allen at this rate.— Brad (@Bradley_Todd) January 22, 2020
This would be a banging signing, this is the exact type of player west ham needs in their mid.

Huge part in Cagliari’s very good season too & paid £16m for so wouldn’t sell for cheap. Tho I would love him. Love Uruguayan setup & he has grit gets stuck in moves play fwd versatile.
Like his compatriot Armabarri too neither be under £25m
