Some West Ham fans have reacted on Twitter to Michail Antonio signing a new deal with the Hammers.

The 30-year-old’s contract now runs until the summer of 2023 – a two year extension on his previous terms.

Michail Antonio joined the Hammers from Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2015 for around £7 million.

He has gone on to be a real hit in east London. And Antonio is now one of the most popular players at the London Stadium.

The former Forest man has racked up 41 goals and 22 assists in 161 games for West Ham (Transfermarkt).

David Moyes loves the powerful 30-year-old and rightly so.

The Hammers have really missed Michail Antonio since he’s been out injured. Let’s just hope that he is back in action sooner rather than later.

We’ve got him tied down for another two-and-a-half years now. So he has a real chance to build upon his already impressive legacy in the East End.
