According to a report from the Mirror, West Ham are lining up a January move for Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic, and some Hammers fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

The east London Outfit signed Sebastien Haller for £45 million in July. Manuel Pellegrini also brought Albian Ajeti in from Basel. Having sold Javier Hernandez, however, they seem to be rather light up front.

West Ham fans are expecting their club to make a real push for the top seven this season.

If they are to do just that, however, Haller and Ajeti will have to avoid any kind of serious injuries.

And the Hammers would be wise to bolster their attacking options in January.

The Mirror claims that Juventus forward Mandzukic is a target for West Ham.

The 33-year-old hitman, with 89 caps for Croatia to his name, could be looking to leave Turin, having been left out of their Champions League squad.

He is still a top class attacker, and his ability to play anywhere along the front-line would make him a real asset for the Hammers.

And Some West Ham fans took to Twitter in reaction to the rumours linking Mandzukic with a move to the London Stadium in January…
