ExWHUemployee claimed yesterday that West Ham are keen on signing Norwich City full-back Max Aarons in January, and some Hammers fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
The east London outfit have real problems at right-back. Pablo Zabaleta is set to leave in the summer and Ryan Fredericks has been unconvincing to say the least.
And Aarons would be a really exciting addition for West Ham.
The 19-year-old has really impressed for Norwich since bursting onto the scene at Carrow Road last season.
He possesses blistering pace and is an attacking full-back in every sense.
Aarons would provide stiff competition for Fredericks and would offer West Ham with a real potent threat down the right hand flank.
According to the Sun, the 19-year-old could be available for just £15 million, and in today’s day and age, that would represent excellent value for money for the Hammers.
Unfortunately for West Ham, however, Tottenham are also allegedly interested in signing the Norwich starlet.
Some Hammers fans took to Twitter in reaction to the news that Aarons is a target for their club…
