According to a report from the Mirror, West Ham are keen to sign Bournemouth winger Ryan Frasier this month, and some Hammers fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

The Cherries ace is out of contract in the summer, and could be available for a bargain fee this month (The Mirror).

Fraser, 25, enjoyed a wonderful campaign with Bournemouth last season, racking up eight goals and 15 assists in 42 appearances for the south coast outfit.

His performance levels have dropped this term, however, with just one goal and three assists to his name in 26 outings.

The Mirror claims that uncertainty regarding his future could lead to him being sold this month, with West Ham keen on bringing the Scot to east London.

Fraser’s pace and direct playing style would certainly provide the Hammers with another useful option in the final third.

The Scottish Sun labelled the Scot as ‘one of the fastest players in the Premier League’ back in 2017.

His form this season has hardly been inspiring, however, and that will surely concern the West Ham board, if they are indeed weighing up an offer for the diminutive winger.

Fraser has averaged just 0.3 dribbles per game in 23 league outings this season (Who Scored) – a statistic that perhaps demonstrates his lack of confidence at the moment.

In spite of this, however, some West Ham fans seem to be excited at the prospect of the Scotland international joining the Hammers…
