Some West Ham fans have reacted to a report from the Star suggesting that that Hammers have held talks with the agent of Manchester United play-maker Jesse Lingard.

The 28-year-old Red Devils ace is the forgotten man at Old Trafford.
The 24-capped England international has fallen foul of the high standards set by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Lingard’s future at Manchester United looks bleak. He is out of contract in the summer but the Red Devils have the option of extending that deal by a further 12 months.
It seems as though Man United could be ready to cash in on the Jesse Lingard this month, however (The Star).
The 28-year-old’s form has undoubtedly nose-dived over the past 12 months. But let’s not forget just how good he was. And there is surely no reason why he couldn’t rediscover his best form by moving to another club this month.
Perhaps West Ham could be the ideal club for the Manchester United star to find his feet once again.
It would undoubtedly be a risk – one that could yield huge dividends for the Hammers, however.
It certainly could happen. The Man United ace has real talent, that’s for sure. He just needs to get his mojo back.
