The 27-year-old just doesn’t seem like the player he was when he moved to the London Stadium from Lazio for around £34 million in the summer of 2018 (The Times).

Anderson began his time at West Ham in fine form, racking up 10 goals and five assists during his debut campaign at the London Stadium.

The Brazilian has been a shadow of his former self over the past year or so, however.

Claret and Hugh claims that David Moyes is prepared to move Anderson on this summer and is looking to sell him for around £17 million. That would represent a £17 million loss for the Hammers.

Anderson’s stock has fallen so much over the past year, however, that £17 million would surely represent decent business for the East London outfit.
