West Ham striker Albian Ajeti could be on his way out in January.
According to Turkish media outlet Sporx, Besiktas are keen on Ajeti. The Turkish giants are hoping to take advantage of Ajeti’s situation at West Ham and launch a swoop.
Ajeti joined West Ham in the summer from FC Basel. He was brought in as a back-up striker to Sebastien Haller. After losing Javier Hernandez, Andy Carroll, Jordan Hugill, Lucas Perez and Marko Arnautovic, West Ham couldn’t afford to just sign one striker.
Ajeti’s faltering start

But Ajeti has not been a success just yet. In fact, he is yet to find the net in his first six games for the Hammers. In fairness, only two of those have been starts. But those were against lower league opposition and he has not made an impact off the bench.
With Manuel Pellegrini hesitant to use Ajeti more frequently, Besiktas could offer him an escape. The Switzerland international scored regularly at Basel and Besiktas want to get him back to those levels.
West Ham fans took to Twitter to discuss this. Here are some tweets regarding the Ajeti rumours.
