Transfer insider Dean Jones has claimed that West Ham will try to sign Jesse Lingard on a permanent deal in the summer, when speaking on the Touchline Talk Podcast today (Thursday February 18th, 10:20). And some Hammers fans have reacted to the speculation on Twitter.

David Moyes brought the 28-year-old to the London Stadium on loan last month.
And the 24-capped England international has already made a huge impact at West Ham.

Lingard has scored two goals in three games for the Hammers.
It has been the 28-year-old’s all around contribution that has been the most impressive thing about him, however.
Lingard’s non-stop energy and quality and composure in possession has taken West Ham’s attacking play to another level entirely.

The Hammers’ priority in the summer will be to sign a new striker. But turning Lingard’s loan deal into a permanent one should be a close second.
The Manchester United owned ace seems to have settled right in at West Ham.
And hopefully Jesse can reinvigorate his career with the Hammers.
