Some West Ham United fans have reacted on Twitter to football journalist Nicolo Schira claiming that David Moyes is interested in bringing Aaron Ramsey back to the Premier League from Juventus.
The Hammers desperately need to bolster their central midfield ranks in the summer.
Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice cannot be relied upon to play every single minute of the season.
They have been superb for West Ham this term. Adding more quality competition and cover for the Czech and England internationals will be of paramount importance in the summer, however.
Football journalist Nicolo Schira claims that Moyes is keen to bring Juventus ace Aaron Ramsey to the London Stadium at the end of the season.
Let’s be honest here. This surely has no legs.
Ramsey is 30, injury prone and is nowhere near the player he once was.
The Wales international is also on massive wages – £400k-a-week according to BBC Sport.
The former Arsenal midfielder certainly doesn’t fit into the ‘Red Bull’ model that Moyes supposedly wants to implement at West Ham.
If the Hammers are indeed interested in the Juventus man, we really should be doing our due diligence and looking elsewhere.
