According to a report from Football.London, West Ham are hopeful of selling Albian Ajeti at the end of the season for the same amount that they paid to acquire him last summer. And some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

The Switzerland international has really struggled to settle at the London Stadium. He moved to the Hammers from FC Basel last summer for around £8 million (BBC).
And he is clearly well down the centre-forward pecking order at West Ham. David Moyes is not a big fan of Ajeti it seems.
And the 23-year-old undoubtedly faces a bleak future in east London.
Football.London has suggested that the Hammers want to sell the former Basel man this summer. And it is suggested that they are hopeful of recouping the £8 million that they paid for his services.
In truth, West Ham will surely not get anywhere near £8 million for Ajeti, if they do indeed decide to sell him this summer.
It is wishful thinking to say the least.
The Hammers undoubtedly need a better, more competent striker to compliment Sebastien Haller.
And selling Ajeti will surely be the correct decision, regardless of what fee they manage to recoup for him. Or will it?
Some West Ham fans took to Twitter in reaction to the claims suggesting that the 23-year-old could be moved on this summer…
The constant signing and selling of young strikers at West Ahmad after only one season and a handful of games is becoming a seasonal occurrence – this list becoming endless of strikers who are seemingly bought and then not trusted at this level before leaving as soon as possible.

When your owners shop in the bargain basement what do we expect, good luck to Ajeti

Has played like 20 minutes. great talent but a pointless signing if we are not going to use him

Bad plan. Keep him. Play him. He will come good.

Should have kept Chicharito for one more season instead of bothering with this lad.
