West Ham fans appear to be divided over reports on Thursday of a shock return to the club for James Collins.
The Welshman was released at the end of the 2017/18 season after the club opted against extending his contract.
The 35-year-old made 214 senior appearances for the club across two stints.

Collins proved himself to be a great servant for the club, and cemented his status as a fan-favourite.
That said, he began to show his age towards the end and was often exposed last season.
But with new signing Fabian Balbuena struggling, and Issa Diop evidently deemed not ready, speculation is picking up that Collins could be offered to return on a one-year deal.
Good or bad move?
Collins would certainly offer experience. At 35 years old, he has been around the block and played at the top level for many years.
He would definitely be a great professional to have around the place.

The obvious downside is the player’s age and lack of mobility. The Premier League is full of fast players and there’s a chance that Collins would be quickly exposed.
Reaction
Fans were less than impressed with the way Collins’ exit was handled earlier this year.
They felt the decision to inform him of his release via email was particularly harsh.
With that still fresh, some fans are more than open to ‘Ginge’ coming back to the club, although some do have their reservations:
