The West Ham adventure is over for Jahmal Hector-Ingram. After a decade and a half at West Ham, Hector-Ingram has confirmed that he is leaving to pursue a career elsewhere.
In a Twitter message, Hector-Ingram told his followers: “My Wonderful Time At West Ham Has Come To An End. From The Age Of 6 I Was At West Ham.Growing Up With Some Team Mates Who I’ll Consider As Long Time Friends For Sure!! Even Some As Family Too. Thanks To Certain Staff And Everyone Else!!”
The 20-year-old departs West Ham after his contract expired. He never played a senior game for the Irons but he was a regular feature in the youth sides. However, after scoring just three league goals for the U23 team, he has decided to move on.
Hector-Ingram was offered a new contract with West Ham. But he has decided to look at other options with Crawley Town also offering him a deal, according to insider EXWHUEmployee.
West Ham fans took to Twitter to wish Hector-Ingram luck in the future. Here are some of the best tweets aimed towards the departing Hammer.
