West Ham have taken Chelsea youngster Adrian Akande on trial. According to trusted Hammers insider EXWHUEmployee, Akande is on trial at West Ham with a view to a permanent move.
The former Crystal Palace youngster is currently in the Chelsea academy. But for one reason or another, he is now at West Ham where the youth scouts will be running the rule over him.
Who is Adrian Akande?
Akande is a pacy young attacker who plays as a striker or on the wings. He is still a raw talent but West Ham will be hoping he shows signs of becoming a potential first-team player in the future.
The Nigeria U17 international could be the next player to join West Ham from Chelsea’s academy. Declan Rice is the most famous example of West Ham signing a young teenager from the Blues, while Domingos Quina and Dan Kemp have also come from West London.

Akande is hoping to show what he can do at West Ham during his trial period. The 15-year-old will probably be training with either the U16 or U18 team.
