Some West Ham United fans have asked for Diafra Sakho to be re-signed on Twitter.

Hammers boss David Moyes failed to sign a new striker in January.
Whether that was actually his decision or not is up for debate.
We will just have to back the Scot for now. He deserves time considering just how much he has done for West Ham since taking over at the London Stadium for the second time in December 2019.

It is a real worry that our fine start to the season could be derailed, however.
Should Michail Antonio suffer an injury, the Hammers may well be in real trouble.

Moyes could still bolster his attacking ranks if he so chooses, however. The free agent market is still open.
And some West Ham fans think Diafra Sakho could be an option…
The 31-year-old scored 24 goals in 71 games for West Ham during a three-and-a-half year spell in East London (Transfermarkt).
Sakho was sold to Rennes in January 2018 for around £9 million (The Daily Mail).
He has struggled for form since leaving West Ham.
The Senegalese striker is still only 31, however. Sakho may not be the player he once was, but he surely wouldn’t be a bad backup for Michail Antonio.
And some West Ham fans obviously think it would be a smart move for David Moyes to re-sign the striker.
