The 30-year-old has proven to be an absolutely incredible addition for West Ham.

Many questioned the wisdom behind David Moyes bringing Dawson to the London Stadium back in October.

All of those doubters have been proven emphatically wrong, however.

The centre-back has been absolutely immense for the Hammers. So much so that he is now undoubtedly one of the first names on Moyes’s team-sheet.

In 12 games in all competitions for West Ham, Dawson has helped his team keep six clean sheets.

In 10 Premier League games, the 30-year-old has racked up six tackles, 15 interceptions, 41 clearances, 23 headed clearances and 39 ball recoveries (premier league.com).

He has won 41 duels and 27 aerial battles (premier league.com).

Dawson has already established himself as a real fan favourite at the London Stadium. And it seems as though he will be hanging around for quite some time yet.

ExWHUemployee has claimed that West Ham have an obligation to buy the 30-year-old for around £2.5 million. Dawson has to play 15-20 Premier League games, however, in order to activate said clause.
