Man United to sell Lingard in the summer – report

According to the reports Lingard – who has been criticised by Man United fans for his performances over the last 18 months – believes he is ‘one of the best No 10’s in European football’.

The Hammers have been sorely lacking quality midfield options this season.

Jack Wilshere and Manuel Lanzini have barely kicked a ball and both look set to leave West Ham in the summer.

Andriy Yarmolenko could follow them out of the exit door while West Ham skipper Mark Noble has proved this season he is no longer up to the task of playing Premier League football week in, week out.

Moyes wants to build a new look West Ham

West Ham boss David Moyes has said he wants to build a new look side based around young, energetic players with pace (whufc.com).

Implementing those plans will depend entirely on whether he keeps West Ham up this season.

Goal claims super agent Mino Raiola has been tasked with securing Lingard a summer move.

And that has got some West Ham fans talking.

Moyes knows the player from their brief time together at Old Trafford. And he has also played in midfield alongside Hammer star Declan Rice for England.

But West Ham supporters are divided over the prospect of signing Lingard this summer.
