West Ham United are interested in signing Schalke ace Ozan Kabak according to a report from German publication Sport 1. And some Hammers fans have reacted to the speculation on Twitter.
David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his ranks at the London Stadium this month.
It could be argued that the Scot needs to strengthen every single department of his squad.
Signing a new striker should undoubtedly be West Ham’s priority now, however, with Sebastien Haller having left for Ajax.
The additions of a new left-back and a central midfielder would not go a miss either.
German publication Sport 1 claims that the Hammers are eyeing up a talented young centre-back, however – Schalke ace Ozan Kabak.
The 20-year-old will allegedly be available for just £13.5 million this month (Sport 1).
The 20-year-old Turkey international is highly rated in the game and he was a target for Liverpool last month according to TEAMtalk. Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the young centre-back, according to Bild.
In 10 league appearances this term, the Turkey international has averaged one tackle, 0.8 interceptions and 3.5 clearances per game. The 20-year-old has also won an average of 4.1 aerial duals per game. He has made 48 passes on average per match and has recorded an impressive completion rate of 87.3% (Who Scored).
Kabak is clearly a top class young centre-back. Whether he should be a priority for the Hammers this month, however, is highly debatable.
