West Ham insiders Claret and Hugh have claimed that West Ham could make a move to sign Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale in the summer, if Chris Wilder’s men go down this season. And some Hammers fans have reacted on Twitter to the speculation.

Hammers boss David Moyes may well be keen to sign a new goalkeeper this summer.
Lukasz Fabianski and Darren Randolph are already in the twilight years of their respective careers.
And neither player has proven to be reliable from a fitness perspective over the past 12-18 months.
The problem for West Ham, however, is that there are two or three positions in more urgent need of addressing than the goalkeeping department.
Nevertheless, Claret and Hugh have claimed that the Hammers could look to sign Sheffield United stopper Aaron Ramsdale in the summer. That’s if the Blades suffer relegation down to the Championship this season.
We can surely do a lot better than the 22-year-old Sheffield United goalkeeper, however. Ramsdale has struggled for Chris Wilder’s side this season though. He has let in 43 goals in 26 Premier League games and has just one clean sheet to his name during those outings (Transfermarkt).
