With the Hammers in such desperate need of a top class striker, having to face stringent competition from the Toffees for the 23-year-old target man will be a real blow.

West Ham have been linked with a move to sign the Austria international for quite some time now (The Daily Mail).

We think that the 6ft 7in Stuttgart striker would be a fine addition for the East London outfit.

West Ham afce Everton competition for Sasa Kalajdzic

That’s according to The Athletic who claim that the Toffees are in contention for the Austrian ace’s signature.

Everton chasing the Stuttgart forward will undoubtedly make it a lot harder for West Ham to sign him this summer.

Kalajdzic is very good in the air and he possesses very impressive technique as well.

He racked up 16 goals and five assists in 33 games for Stuttgart last season. Considering the fact that he made just 23 starts and played only 2140 minutes of football, that really is a very impressive return (Who Scored).

Standing at 6ft 7in tall, the Austria international would provide West Ham with a great focal point to our attacking play. He would certainly give us a completely different option through the middle.

Kalajdzic could be available for just £18 million this summer (TuttoJuve).
