Alleged West Ham United target Nikola Milenkovic could now be available for just £21 million this summer according to a report from Calcio Mercato.

Hammers boss David Moyes may well be keen to bolster his central defensive ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

West Ham wanted him back in January but Fiorentina were demanding £35 million then (Calcio Mercato).

Boost for West Ham as Nikola Milenkovic price-tag plummets

Calcio Mercato claims that the Serie A outfit now want just £21 million for the 23-year-old.

The Serbia international is allegedly refusing to sign a new contract and Fiorentina don’t want to risk losing him for nothing in the summer of 2022.

Milenkovic would be a truly superb addition for the Hammers.

In 27 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina this season, the Serbian has scored three goals and registered one assist. In those outings, he has averaged 1.4 tackles, 1.2 interceptions, 3.3 clearances and 0.9 blocks per match. The 23-year-old has won an average of 3.4 aerial duals per game and has an 85.8% pass completion rate from an average of 51.2 passes per match (Who Scored).

Signing Milenkovic for just £21 million should be an absolute no-brainer for West Ham.

Hopefully the Hammers board are prepared to back David Moyes with the required funds in the summer.
