Central midfield is an area that David Moyes desperately needs to address this summer.
The Scot needs to provide more adequate competition and cover for Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek at the London Stadium.
And a Manchester City player is allegedly on the East London outfit’s radar.

West Ham chasing Yangel Herrera
Pep Guardiola is allegedly keen to move some of the deadwood on from the Etihad this summer.
And Herrera could be available for around £20 million (The Daily Mail).
West Ham could face competition from Atletico Madrid for the capped 23-capped Venezuela international’s signature, however.
We think the City midfielder is absolutely perfect for us this summer.
AS recently claimed that the Hammers are ready to make a ‘huge investment’ to bring the South American to East London.

The 23-year-old has spent the last couple of seasons on loan with Granada and he has really impressed, racking up 10 goals and five assists in 82 games (Transfermarkt).
Herrera is an athletic and energetic midfield player. He has great quality in possession of the football as well.
Let’s hope that David Sullivan and David Gold manage to somehow get this one done. Herrera would be a great signing for West Ham.
