West Ham United are currently chasing Tammy Abraham AND Adam Hlozek according to a report from The Athletic.
The Hammers need for a new striker this summer has been well-documented already.
David Moyes’s failure to sign a replacement for Sebastien Haller in January now seems like a huge mistake.
Whether that was the Scot’s decision or the owners’ is up for debate.
Either way it was the wrong one.
West Ham chasing Tammy Abraham and Adam Hlozek
The Hammers seem determined to atone for past errors.
The Athletic claims that Chelsea hitman Tammy Abraham and Sparta Prague forward Adam Hlozek are both on West Ham’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
Now, signing both players would be the stuff that dreams are made of.
We have to be realistic, however, considering the limited finances David Moyes has at his disposal.
Should we sign two strikers this summer, it is highly likely that one of those will be either a free transfer or a loan deal.
At 23 and 18 respectively, Abraham and Hlozek are sensationally talented strikers with incredible amounts of potential.
If either one arrives at the London Stadium in the summer, we should all be very happy.
Who knows though? Perhaps GSB have a surprise in store for us. In order for West Ham to make genuine progress, Abraham or Hlozek are the kind of signings we need to be making.
If we manage to get deals done for both, however, it would be truly extraordinary.
