West Ham are interested in signing Genk hitman Paul Onuachu according to a report from All Nigeria Soccer.

The Hammers need for a new striker has been well documented over the past few months.
David Moyes currently has Michail Antonio as his only recognised senior centre-forward option at the London Stadium.
The Scot has already been linked with moves for numerous different strikers.
And now there is a new name to add to the list.

West Ham chasing Paul Onuachu
All Nigeria Soccer claims that the prolific 27-year-old is on the Hammers’ radar this summer.
Onuachu was on fire last season racking up 35 goals in 41 games for Genk (Transfermarkt).
The 13-capped Nigeria international is an absolute giant.
Standing at 6ft 7in tall, Paul Onuachu is understandably an absolute menace in the air.

The Genk ace has a very impressive career record as well with 124 goals in 263 games to his name (Transfermarkt).
He could be available for around £25 million this summer (All Nigeria Soccer).
That seems like a rather excessive fee for someone who is totally unproven in the Premier League. Therefore, we think West Ham should seriously think twice about bringing him to the London Stadium this summer.

Perhaps if we could pick him up for around £15 million it would be worth the risk. The 27-year-old does have a great goalscoring record. So he knows where the net is, that’s for sure.
Moyes will have to weigh up whether or not he believes Onuachu will succeed in the Premier League, however.
