The West Ham board have issued an exciting transfer update after Graham Potter publicly pleaded for more signings to help bolster his squad ahead of the new season.

West Ham have parted with just £19m so far this summer transfer window.
That went on the brilliant signing of Graham Potter and Kyle Macaulay target El Hadji Malick Diouf.
The flying left-back was identified by the Hammers boss and his head of recruitment and Diouf is already making a big impact on the team.
Potter promised West Ham fans were in for an “exciting and interesting” summer rebuild.
West Ham’s half-baked rebuild
But only free agents Kyle Walker-Peters and Callum Wilson have followed Diouf through the London Stadium door thus far.
The new Premier League season is now just 11 days away and West Ham’s overhaul feels half-baked.
Major issues still haven’t been addressed in goal, at centre-back and – most worryingly – in midfield.
Most Hammers fans also firmly believe the club needs another new young striker too given how injury-prone both Wilson and Niclas Fullkrug have been throughout their careers.

The Irons have been linked with a host of players of late and some reports have claimed progress on deals for the likes of Jacob Ramsey of Aston Villa and Botafogo goalkeeper John Victor.
Ramsey would be an exciting addition for West Ham with the potential to completely change the dynamic of an immobile midfield.
Victor has been the best goalkeeper in South America over the last couple of years.
But some West Ham fans are underwhelmed about signing Victor given he is 29 and has never been capped by Brazil.
Now the West Ham board has delivered an exciting transfer update as Potter pleads for more signings.
Graham Potter pleads for more West Ham signings
Speaking before heading back to east London from their US tour, Potter said he needs help to improve the team.
“You’ve always got to think there’s a chance that we want to improve,” Potter told Sky Sports News.
“We have to improve the players that we have here – and that’s always where my focus is on.
“But as I say all the time, and every club is the same, if there is an opportunity to strengthen we will and we’re working behind the scenes to make that happen.”
Potter is not wrong on both fronts.

West Ham do desperately need more signings if they are to have any hope of challenging for the top half let alone avoid the relegation battle many are tipping them for in what’s expected to be the most fiercely competitive Premier League for years.
And the club are also working behind the scenes to make more signings.
Because West Ham’s owners have confirmed that is the case after the manager asked for more arrivals.
It was put to the top spokesman for the Hammers’ hierarchy whether there has been any progress on more incomings.
The spokesman was also asked whether deals for Ramsey and Victor were in the pipeline.
The response suggests West Ham are really pushing to add multiple signings.

“We have lots of balls in the air,” the top spokesman for West Ham’s owners told Hammers News.
“I can’t comment on specific names at this time as we don’t want to jeopardise anything or tip our rivals off.”
This suggests a number of deals are being worked on and that some could be close given the guarded nature of the response.
Hammers fans have been very impressed with the signing of Diouf and feel Walker-Peters was a savvy addition to give cover for both full-back positions.
Signing Wilson has angered many supporters, though, with the striker and owners facing a backlash from fans.
With the big kick-off fast approaching and the window slamming shut in just under four weeks, the business done between now and then will likely define West Ham’s season.
