West Ham could be set to battle it out with Southampton for Sassuolo ace Filip Duricic this summer according to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio.

Hammers boss David Moyes has plenty of pressing priorities this summer.
West Ham need to sign two strikers, a defensive midfielder, a left-back and a centre-back.
You could easily add a top class goalkeeper to that list as well.
One addition the Hammers don’t really need to make is an attacking midfielder.
So links with Sassuolo’s Duricic seem slightly strange.
West Ham and Southampton chasing Filip Duricic
Gianluca Di Marzio claims that offers have already been submitted for the 29-year-old.
It is suggested that the Hammers and the Saints are keen to bring the 31-capped Serbia international back to the Premier League after he spent the second half of the 2015/16 campaign at St Mary’s.
Duricic is most comfortable playing in the number 10 role but he can operate on either wing as well.
The Serbian racked up five goals and four assists in 32 Serie A games for Sassuolo this season (Transfermarkt).
The Sassuolo play-maker is technically good and is a very good player overall.
It is debatable whether West Ham should be trying to sign him, however, considering how many glaring deficiencies we have in other areas of the squad.

Perhaps the Hammers will be better served by letting Southampton have Duricic.
