The Spanish media outlet suggest that Celta Vigo want to sign the 31-year-old winger.

The Hammers are allegedly best placed to sign the Atletico Madrid ace, however, according to a report from La Razon.

Now this seems like a strange one to us.

David Moyes should be prioritising the additions of a new striker, a central midfielder, a left-back and a centre-back.

You could even add a goalkeeper to that list.

The last position we need to strengthen is the wide attacking department.

In spite of that, it seems as though West Ham are chasing a winger. Mad eh?

Vitolo West Ham bound?

La Razon claims that the 31-year-old Atleti ace is on the Hammers radar. In fact, it is suggested that the East London outfit are leading the race to sign the 12-capped Spain international.

Vitolo has been in distinctly average form this season. He has no goals and only one assist to his name in 15 appearances for Atletico Madrid (Transfermarkt).

He’ll be 32 in November. Players who move from La Liga to the Premier League often find it hard to cope with the intensity.

And at his age, the Spaniard would surely find it really difficult to make an impact at the London Stadium.

This is one that West Ham really should be avoiding.

There are better players out there and more importantly, David Moyes should have more pressing issues than signing another winger this summer.
