Spurs flop Vincent Janssen is hoping a potential West Ham move will reignite his struggling career, according to The Sun. Janssen has been cast aside by his manager, Mauricio Pochettino and is destined for the exit.
The Dutchman has recently been featuring for Spurs’ under-23 side and made a scoring return against West Ham this month. Last season he scored four goals whilst on loan at Fenerbahce but hasn’t featured in the first team for Spurs at all this season.

Janssen is supposedly available for around £12 million as Spurs look to shift a player off their books who has never got going in north London. Even with Harry Kane out injured, Spurs are happy to let Janssen leave.
The most likely option at this moment seems to be a move to China, following in the footsteps of former Spurs midfielder Mousa Dembélé. However, Janssen would prefer to stay in Europe and hopes either one of West Ham or Crystal Palace will step in for him.
Both clubs were rumoured to be interested in Janssen before his move to Spurs from AZ Alkmaar in 2016.

Recently, Andy Carroll has been linked with a shock move to Spurs in a cut price £2 million deal. If Spurs’ interest in him is legitimate, there could be a potential swap deal on the cards. Carroll is out of contract in summer, so West Ham would do well to move him on now in return for a fee or a player.

However, fresh reports from Spain this morning suggest that Sevilla are still interested in Janssen. However, they are only interested in a loan deal for the forward, to which Janssen is said not to be keen on at all. He would much prefer a permanent move to try and kick start his career. Yet at an asking price of £12 million, Janssen is highly unlikely to sign for the Hammers this window.
