West Ham United are said to be plotting some seriously exciting moves in the transfer market in the January window.
A lot of work is needed in the January transfer window, if West Ham are to achieve any kind of success this season.
If Julen Lopetegui is still in charge at the London Stadium come next month, he must work closely with Tim Steidten to bring in two or three top-class players.
Lopetegui is said to be under real pressure in his role as Hammers boss, with the likes of Max Allegri and Maurizio Sarri allegedly being lined up to replace him.
However, a good run of results between now and the end of the new year would shift the landscape significantly.

A couple of good wins in our next three games would undoubtedly keep Lopetegui in the job.
And if that happens, he will then be able to attack the January transfer window with real gusto.
West Ham eye unbelievable strike force with January moves planned
The Hammers are already well stocked with elite attacking players.
However, more are needed if we are to fulfil our potential and chase down a European spot during the second half of the season.
And it seems like the powers that be at the London Stadium share that opinion also.
According to a report from Caught Offside, Atalanta star Charles De Ketelaere is a transfer target for West Ham in the January window.
The 23-year-old can play as a number 10, on either wing or even through the middle as a striker.
He has bagged eight goals and nine assists in 23 games for Atalanta so far this season (Transfermarkt).
Charles De Ketelaere is a sensational talent with exquisite technical ability, and the Belgium international would be an incredibly strong addition to Lopetegui’s ranks at the London Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Hammers are said to be looking at another hugely talented forward as well.
According to claims from Give Me Sport, West Ham are leading the race to sign Evan Ferguson from Brighton this winter.

Now, this one will undoubtedly divide opinion, but I think the 20-year-old would be a superb signing for us.
After his blistering start to life with Brighton during the 2022/23 season where he scored 10 goals in 25 games as an 18-year-old, the goals have dried up somewhat for the Irishman.
However, he’s still a real talent, and has the exact skillset we require up front. He’s strong in the air and when holding up the ball, possesses impressive pace for a big man and is a naturally gifted finisher.
If West Ham manage to get deals over the line for Charles De Ketelaere and Evan Ferguson in the January transfer window, we will be in a really strong position going forward.
