Tottenham have entered the race to sign yet another West Ham target, this time Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma according to a report from Sky Sports.

Hammers boss David Moyes was first linked with a move to sign the 26-year-old Blues centre-back by Sky Sports at the end of last month.

Links with Zouma went cold, however, as West Ham pursued a move to sign Fiorentina ace Nikola Milenkovic. Tottenham were also said to be chasing the Serbia international.

Talks to bring the 23-year-old to the London Stadium then broke down, however.

And the East London outfit have now gone back in for Zouma according to The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg.

We could face a real battle on our hands, however.

Tottenham to hijack West Ham move for Zouma?

Sky Sports reckon that Spurs now want to sign the Frenchman. You couldn’t make it up could you.

The only thing that matters is getting a deal done for a top class defender.

Whether that be Zouma or Milenkovic or someone else all together remains to be seen.

The Chelsea ace would be a very impressive signing for West Ham. Chelsea are asking for around £25 million for the 26-year-old (Jacob Steinberg).

It’s unlikely that the Hammers will pay that considering the fact that a deal to sign Milenkovic including the extortionate agent fees would have worked out at a lot cheaper.

Tottenham on the other hand, would easily be prepared to part with £25 million for the Chelsea man.
