Agent Will Salthouse is reportedly heavily involved in West Ham United’s transfer plans.
According to Football Insider, Salthouse is the preferred agent of West Ham co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold.
The likes of Barry Silkman have previously filled that role for Sullivan and Gold.
Cash-strapped West Ham leaning on ‘preferred agent’ over transfer plans
West Ham boss Moyes has been told he must sell to buy this window (Claret & Hugh).
But with just six weeks until the new season begins that will make the Scot’s job all the more difficult.
So Moyes and West Ham may well lean on Salthouse – who runs the agency Unique Sports Management – for help.
Football Insider claims Sullivan and Salthouse have done ‘plenty of business together in recent years’.
Indeed many of the agent’s clients are already at the London Stadium.
Football Insider even says Salthouse has helped broker ‘many deals’ while partying with Sullivan’s sons – Jack and Dave – in London and Ibiza.
Antonio heads clutch of West Ham players already with USM
West Ham star Michail Antonio and fellow Hammers Aaron Cresswell, Ryan Fredericks and Darren Randolph are all with Salthouse’s agency.
With the agent reportedly set to play a big role in West Ham’s transfer dealings, who else is in his stable that David Moyes may look to sign?
Running down the list on Transfer Market’s USM page, several of Salthouse’s clients have already been linked with West Ham.
We have looked at the top 15 players represented by Salthouse in terms of transfer value, excluding players already at West Ham.

The list also throws up some other names which may well interest West Ham, such as relegated David Brooks.
The Welshman is also reportedly a target for Moyes (Sky Sports).
So it is no surprise to see he is represented by Salthouse.
West Ham may have to turn their attentions to Brooks if they fail with reported moves for Eberechi Eze and Benrahma.
