The East London outfit have been linked with a move to sign the 26-year-old Man United star on numerous occasions before – most recently just last month when it was claimed that we were in pole position to bring him to the London Stadium.

The 26-year-old Scott is on the Hammers’ radar this summer according to The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg.

Daily Mail claim that Man United will not sell the Scotland international for anything less than £30 million this summer.

Some West Ham fans might turn their nose up at McTominay but I think he’s exactly what we need when Declan Rice leaves.

He’s tenacious in the tackle, incredibly athletic and has bags of energy. The Scot is hard as nails and has an elite mentality.

Diego Simeone once labelled the midfielder as a ‘world-class’ player (talkSPORT). If the Argentinian thinks that, the Man United midfielder must have something special about him.

Sure, he’s not in the same league as Dec, but not many players are! If Moyes brings Scott McTominay to West Ham alongside an elite central midfielder – someone like Ibrahim Sangare or Khephren Thuram, then we’ll be in a really strong position to move on after Rice.

And for around £30 million, I really feel like the Hammers can’t go wrong by signing the 26-year-old this summer.
