Spurs have emerged as a serious threat to a David Moyes move for prime West Ham summer target Harvey Barnes but Newcastle lurk.
It promises to be a busy summer window for West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United for differing reasons.
The Hammers must rebuild with the impending big money departure of talisman Declan Rice and the potential of a third successive European campaign to look forward to.
Tottenham may also have to replace their own main man if Harry Kane leaves. And they already need major surgery in the transfer window under whoever is appointed their new manager.
Newcastle will be busy too as Eddie Howe looks to improve his squad after leading them into the Champions League.

Spurs emerge as serious threat to David Moyes move for prime West Ham summer target Harvey Barnes but Newcastle lurk
So it is inevitable the three Premier League rivals will share mutual interest in a number of players ahead of the summer transfer window.
That has already proved the case with Tottenham and Newcastle said to be vying for James Maddison.
Now Spurs have emerged as a serious threat to a David Moyes move for prime West Ham summer target Harvey Barnes but Newcastle lurk.

As sure as night follows day, Spurs want West Ham target in transfer window
The likes of The Daily Mail have claimed West Ham want Barnes. And Moyes has admitted he is eyeing more British players in the summer window.
It wouldn’t be a transfer window, though, if Spurs did not throw their hat in the ring for a West Ham target.
According to a host of reports from the likes of The Sun, Tottenham will look to sign both Maddison and West Ham target Barnes.
But Newcastle – not West Ham – will be their biggest threat. Leicester are said to want between £40-50m for Barnes.

Easy to see why Barnes is so coveted
It is easy to see why the Hammers want Barnes.
Said Benrahma has been one of West Ham’s better players this season. But he often frustrates with his end product.
Barnes is much quicker and more direct while possessing a more clinical finish too – as he showed with his excellently taken goal against West Ham on the final day of the season.
The big advantage West Ham have over Spurs is Barnes would essentially be a guaranteed starter.
But at Tottenham he would be competing with the likes of Son Heung-min and Richarlison.
Newcastle could be a real problem for both London clubs with their new financial muscle. And it seems Barnes will have his pick of clubs to join from relegated Leicester this summer.
