Sky Sports News journalist Kaveh Solhekol absolutely raved about West Ham ace Pablo Fornals, when speaking to Sky Sports News (19:57, Monday, July 22nd), suggesting that he could become a £100 million player within the next few years.
The Spaniard joined the Hammers from Villarreal last month for just £24 million. And it was claimed at the time that the east London outfit had secured themselves a real bargain.
Much is expected of Fornals at the London Stadium.
The 23-year-old is a gifted technician, and he should help add some real creativity and guile to West Ham’s attacking play.
And Solhekol’s comments will only add to the excitement surrounding the diminutive play-maker.
The Sky Sports reporter made a prediction about Fornals, when speaking to Sky Sports News (19:57, Monday, July 22nd):
“The best signing this summer by far, I think has been Pablo Fornals. West Ham signed him for £24million from Villarreal. He creates chances, scores goals, has great technical ability. He’s even been described as the new Andres Iniesta in Spain. He’s that good and West Ham did really really well to get him for just £24million as I think in a few windows, he could be a £100million player.”
West Ham are expected to make a real push for the top seven this season. And having Fornals on board will certainly aid them in their quest for European football.
The Spaniard has a lot of pressure on his shoulders to produce the goods for the Hammers. He has more than enough quality to help take West Ham to another level this season.
And if the midfielder does play to his full potential over the next few seasons, Solhekol’s prediction might just prove to be spot on.
