According to a report from Sky Sports (Live Transfer Feed, 21:31), Jarrod Bowen is very close to joining West Ham from Hull City, and is set to sign a contract with the east London club within the next hour.
News of the 23-year-old’s potential switch to the Hammers from the Tigers broke this morning when Sky Sports (Live Transfer Feed 08:00) reported that a £20 million fee had been agreed for the attacker.
Bowen is a real talent. He has been on fire in the Championship this season, racking up 16 goals and seven assists in 29 games for Hull (Who Scored).
And West Ham seem to be on the verge of securing themselves one seriously good signing.
Sky Sports claims (Live Transfer Feed, 21:31) that Bowen could sign a contract with the Hammers within the next hour.
It was reported earlier by Sky Sports (Live Transfer Feed, 19:46) that West Ham have offered the talented attacker a five-and-a-half year deal worth £80,000 per week.
Bowen has arguably been the Championship’s best player this season. In 29 Championship outings for Hull, he has averaged 3.6 shots, 1.5 key passes and and 1.8 dribbles per game (Who Scored).
He will certainly give West Ham more pace and penetration in the final third, and for just £20 million, he could end up being a real bargain for the east London outfit.
