Said Benrahma has made a demand to the West Ham United owners ahead of the January transfer window.
West Ham winger Said Benrahma has been so poor this season, but despite being linked with a January transfer window move to the Saudi League, recent reports suggested that he wanted to remain at the London Stadium to fight for his place.
Hammers boss David Moyes has barely given him any minutes this season, and he has zero goals and just one assist to his name in 19 games (Transfermarkt) – a truly shocking return for an attacking player.
West Ham signed the 28-year-old on loan from Brentford in October 2020, before making his move a permanent one just three months later for around £30 million (The Athletic).
Despite the odd bit of brilliance though, it has to be said that Benrahma has failed to make any kind of impact whatsoever at the London Stadium.
And now the Algeria international could be set for an exit from the London Stadium…

Said Benrahma makes big demand to the West Ham owners
According to a report from Fichajes.net, the Algerian is ‘demanding’ an exit from the club in January.
Now, I have really supported Benrahma in the past, but he’s past the point of no return now.
The former Brentford man has been absolutely woeful whenever Moyes has given him a chance this season.
Gone are the game-changing bits of skill and acceleration past opposing defenders and now all that remains is a sluggish Benrahma – a player who doesn’t have the speed or confidence to take on his opponents.
If there is any way possible of getting anything like £15-20 million for the 28-year-old forward in the January window, the Hammers should sell him without hesitation.
Said Benrahma is nothing more than a bit-part player at West Ham now, and in fact, it could be argued that he’s not even doing enough to warrant that title.
The sooner he leaves the club the better for all parties involved in my opinion.
