West Ham United boss David Moyes allegedly now wants to keep Tomas Soucek at the London Stadium this summer.
That’s according to Roshane Thomas who told the You Irons podcast that Moyes has no intention of even listening to offers for the ‘integral’ 27-year-old.

News emerged last week that West Ham might sell Soucek for around £30 million this summer.
Many Hammers fans were surprised and somewhat angry about the prospect of Soucek being moved on.

There was a feeling that a lot of the good work that he does goes under appreciated. And let’s have it right here, the Czech Republic international puts everything on the line every single time he takes to the pitch in a West Ham shirt.
It seems as though we have nothing to worry about though…
West Ham boss Moyes performs Tomas Soucek U-turn
It seems as though the 6ft 4in midfielder is set to stay at the London Stadium.
Roshane Thomas shared an update when speaking on the You Irons podcast and highlighted how Moyes has performed somewhat of a 180 on the Czech ace:
“I checked in, the club have no intention of selling Tomas Soucek or even listening to offers, he still remains an integral member of the team.”

We have to say, we think this is great news.
He runs more than any other West Ham player and his effectiveness in the air both defensively and offensively is something that we really miss when he doesn’t play.
We would love to see Soucek stay at the London Stadium and for Moyes to play him in his correct position next season.
The Scot needs to give the 27-year-old the chance to prove that he still has what it takes to make a difference for this Hammers team in his more natural role. Declan Rice’s transformation into more of a marauding, box-to-box central midfielder somewhat shackled Soucek over the past 12 months.
Let’s hope that Tomas Soucek returns to more of an attacking midfielder for West Ham next season.
