The Hammers snapped up the 28-year-old on loan from Manchester United in January.
And what an incredibly important impact Lingard has already had at the London Stadium.
Jesse has racked up eight goals and three assists in just nine Premier League games for West Ham so far.

The 27-capped England international has undoubtedly been the best player in the Premier League since joining the Hammers.
Considering the fact that Lingard barely played for Man United this season, the fitness, energy and stamina levels that he has displayed for West Ham have been quite breathtaking.
Rio Ferdinand recommends permanent West Ham move for Jesse Lingard
The 28-year-old will have a big decision to make in the summer. He will certainly be a wanted man.
And Ferdinand suggested that West Ham is the best place for the England international, when speaking on his FIVE YouTube channel:

“If he isn’t going to be as happy and as content as he is right now going back to Man United, I’d say stay where you are, stay at West Ham. Stay and play football and enjoy yourself. Listen, West Ham are going to have a fight to be the only team to get him by the way, cos I think there’s be other teams going ‘listen, we want him’. He ain’t going to go to Arsenal over West Ham obviously, but there will be other teams… he’s not going nowhere near Arsenal.”
A move to West Ham does make sense for Lingard.
Especially if the Hammers qualify for the Champions League!
The 28-year-old is clearly loving life at the London Stadium. He has found a niche with West Ham.
Jesse is the man. He has already established himself as one of David Moyes’s best players. Let’s just hope and pray that he makes the permanent move to the London Stadium in the summer.
