According to a report from Football.London, West Ham would have to pay £10 million if they want to sign Derby County full-back Jayden Bogle this month.
The Hammers desperately need to strengthen their right-back department.
Pablo Zabaleta is set to leave in the summer and the jury is still out on Ryan Fredericks.
New West Ham boss David Moyes will surely be desperate to make some new signings this month, but according to Sky Sports, he is prioritising the additions of a new central midfielder and a goalkeeper.
So a move for Rams starlet Bogle might have to wait until the summer.
Football.London claims that the Hammers want the 19-year-old right-back, and would have to pay around £10 million if they want to secure his signature this month.
Would be a great signing
The Derby youngster is a real player for the future. He has exceptional talent and his pace and attacking intent would provide West Ham with an entirely different option down the right hand flank.
Bogle contributes just as much in the final third as he does defensively, and for just £10 million, the Hammers can’t afford to miss out on the Derby ace.
He could be worth five times that amount in five or six years.
And Moyes must look at bringing Bogle to the London Stadium as a priority this month.
