According to a report from 90 Min, West Ham are interested in signing Manchester United ace Jesse Lingard this summer. The Hammers could face competition from Newcastle for the out-of-form forward, however.

The Red Devils star can play on either wing or in the number 10 position. He can also operate in a more orthodox central midfield role.
And that kind of versatility could appeal to Hammers boss David Moyes.
The Scot actually loaned the versatile ace out to Birmingham City and Brighton respectively when he was in charge at Old Trafford during the 2013/14 campaign.
90 Min claims that Moyes could attempt to bring the 27-year-old to West Ham this summer.
Lingard has been woefully out of form this season, however.
Stats
The Manchester United man has failed to register either a goal or an assist in 20 Premier League games so far this season (Transfermarkt).
In those 20 outings, Lingard has averaged just one shot, one key pass and 0.7 dribbles per game (Who Scored).
For a so-called creative player, those numbers really are poor.
The England international’s fall from grace this season really has been rather dramatic. According to a report from the Manchester Evening News, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Lingard sold this summer.
The 27-year-old is valued at around £30 million by Manchester United according to GMS. And for that kind of money, West Ham should jut steer clear.
The English attacker is well renowned for putting in just as much effort off the pitch on social media as he does on it.
And the United man would just be another expensive recruit that the Hammers quite simply could do without.
