The Hammers have been closely monitoring the 21-year-old Gunners hitman since January (Evening Standard).

At the time, West Ham were quoted around £30 million for Nketiah (talkSPORT).

David Moyes obviously chose not to pursue him for that price.

Allegedly Eddie can now be picked up for just £20 million, however.

That’s according to The Sun who claim that Mikel Arteta is prepared to let the 21-year-old forward leave the Emirates this summer.

West Ham told to pay £20 million for Eddie Nketiah – good value?

David Moyes needs to add a proven goalscorer to his ranks this summer.

And for that reason, we think West Ham should avoid a move to sign Nketiah.

The 21-year-old has made just four Premier League starts for Arsenal this season and has 13 substitute appearances to his name. He has scored just two goals in the league and ironically, one of them came against the Hammers at the start of the season (Who Scored).

West Ham could and should be doing a lot better than Nketiah. Certainly for that price.

Th East London outfit could sign Adam Hlozek for that fee (90 Min).

Moyes should avoid this one. He has to get the striker signing right this summer.

We think Arsenal hitman Nketiah just isn’t the man West Ham need.
