West Ham United want to sign Bristol City winger Antoine Semenyo this summer according to a report from TEAMtalk.

The Hammers could face competition from the likes of Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Southampton, however.

David Moyes should be a busy man this summer. He desperately needs to bring a new centre-forward and a central midfielder to the London Stadium.

The addition of a new left-back/left wing-back wouldn’t go a miss either.

Perhaps the Scot will be after another wide attacker as well, however, with Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko facing uncertain futures at the London Stadium.

West Ham to swoop in for Bristol City winger Antoine Semenyo?

It seems as though the Hammers could be eyeing a move for the Championship attacker.

The 21-year-old winger, who can also operate through the middle as a centre-forward, has been in fine form for Bristol City this season. He has racked up five goals and seven assists in 43 games for the Robins (Transfermarkt).

Semenyo is clearly a massive talent and was close to joining Chelsea back in 2019. Bristol City held out for £2 million, however, with the west London club refusing to meet their demands (TEAMtalk).

He is powerful, quick and has a great footballing brain.

The Bristol City ace still has a long way to go but if he continues to develop and keeps working hard, there is no reason why he can’t go on to become a real star in the game.

Bristol City will now surely demand more than £2 million for the London-born forward. Perhaps if West Ham could pick him up for around £3 million, it would be a deal that we should be pursuing.

Semenyo has all the makings of an extremely exciting young player.
