West Ham United are hoping to beat some of football’s biggest clubs to the signing of Young Boys ace Mohamed Ali Camara this summer according to a report from TEAMtalk.
Liverpool and Arsenal are thought to be chasing the talented 23-year-old centre-back as well (TEAMtalk).
Hammers boss David Moyes might just be on the look-out for a new centre-back this summer.
Fabian Balbuena could be set for an exit from the London Stadium at the end of the season whilst the jury is still out on Issa Diop.
Meanwhile, Angelo Ogbonna will be 33 before the start of next season.
West Ham looking to sign Young Boys star Mohamed Ali Camara?
TEAMtalk reckon that the Hammers are trying to sign the Guinea international ace.
We will allegedly have to beat Liverpool and Arsenal to his signature, however.
Camara has really impressed on one of the highest stages this season.
In six Europa League appearances for Young Boys, the 23-year-old averaged one tackle, 1.5 interceptions and 2.8 clearances per game. He also won an average of 1.8 aerial duals per match during those outings (Who Scored).
The Young Boys ace is incredibly athletic and has bundles of pace at his disposal.
He is also a very good passer. In six Europa League games this season, he made an average of 37.3 passes per match and recoded a completion rate of 83.9% (Who Scored).
Camara must have something about him if the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal are chasing his signature.
And if West Ham manage to win the race for his signature, it would be a real statement from the Irons.
