According to an exclusive report from 90Min, West Ham have sent scouts to watch Gabriel Barbosa and Bruno Henrique in action for Flamengo against Liverpool this evening.
The Hammers are desperately short in the attacking department, and need more firepower to help supplement Sebastien Haller and Michail Antonio.
A lot has been reported about West Ham’s interest in Barbosa recently. The Daily Mail claimed last month that the east London club want to sign the Brazilian.
Whilst FC Inter News suggest that the 23-year-old could be signed for just £18.6 million.
West Ham’s reported interest in Henrique is new, however.
The 28-year-old has been in sensational form for Flamengo this season. He has racked up 26 goals and nine assists in 46 appearances.
Henrique mostly operates out on the wing, but he can also play as a centre-forward.
The South American is incredibly gifted, and he would be a really useful addition for West Ham.
And it will be really interesting to see how the 28-year-old and his teammate Gabigol perform against the Champions League winners tonight.
